Slow down. Hear yourself.
We start with what’s here for you. You can speak freely, take your time and find words for things that have felt difficult to express.
A LITTLE ROOM FOR YOU
Therapy for thoughtful people who want to understand themselves more deeply.
A space to explore what you’re experiencing, understand the patterns beneath it, and make sense of what you want next.
You don’t have to have it all worked out to begin.
PERHAPS THIS SOUNDS FAMILIAR
You may be used to making sense of things for other people, while finding it harder to know what you feel or need yourself.
You can see a pattern and even explain it. Living differently within it feels harder.
For the feelings that contradict each other, the things you’re still working out, and the parts you usually keep to yourself.
A loss, an ending, a relationship or a quieter sense of disconnection may have brought you here.
There’s no particular way you need to be. Curiosity can begin with “I don’t know”.
HOW I WORK
My approach is thoughtful, collaborative and exploratory. We make room for emotional depth while keeping sight of what feels useful to you.
Person-centred in spirit, our work begins with your experience. We can also explore how earlier relationships and experiences shape what happens in the present.
See how this might feel for youWe start with what’s here for you. You can speak freely, take your time and find words for things that have felt difficult to express.
With curiosity and compassion, we explore the beliefs, fears and ways of relating that may once have protected you and now feel limiting.
Understanding can open up choices: how you respond, what you ask for, what you allow, and how you want to live. We explore what that means in everyday life.
A MOMENT TO REFLECT
Choosing a therapist is personal. These three gentle prompts offer a glimpse of how we might work together.

SOMETHING TO TAKE WITH YOU
This is a starting point for a conversation. How you feel in a session matters more than any set of prompts.

THE PERSON IN THE ROOM
I’m interested in who you are, how you’ve come to be here, and what life feels like from your side.
I offer a calm, compassionate space where we can think together. There’s room for uncertainty, for the parts that don’t fit neatly, and for feelings you may not yet understand.
My work includes supporting people through grief, relationship endings, anxiety, low mood and times of change. These experiences are part of a life story; I want to understand what they mean for you.
I welcome neurodivergent clients. You don’t need to fit a particular way of thinking or communicating to be heard here.
THE PRACTICAL THINGS
Starting therapy can bring plenty of questions.
We can talk through yours in writing.
Individual sessions for adults. Ask about current in-person or online availability.
We’ll agree the practical arrangements before your first appointment.
Tell me a little about what brings you here, and ask whatever you need to know.
No. You might have something specific in mind, or just a sense that things aren’t quite right. We can begin there and find a way into it together.
You don’t need to be articulate, insightful or certain about your feelings. Being open to exploring is enough, and that openness can grow as you feel more comfortable.
We begin by email, discussing what you’re looking for, your questions and current availability. If we decide to arrange a session, we’ll agree the fee, format, timing and other practical details beforehand.
Notice whether you feel listened to, whether you can bring your questions, and whether the pace feels manageable. You can tell me if something doesn’t feel right. Our early sessions give us a chance to explore the fit together.
Yes. You’re welcome to ask about the room, online sessions, communication preferences or anything that would help you feel more comfortable. We can discuss what’s available before arranging a session.

WHEN YOU FEEL READY
You don’t need the perfect words. A few lines about what brings you here, or what you’re hoping for, are enough.
